Until now, most people view fire sprinkler systems as behind-the-scenes, codemandated equipment that is out-of-site and out-of-mind. You know you must have a system, but little thought goes into its importance or real-world impact.
Remember this. Fire sprinklers save people, not just property.
From family members, to employees, to customers and clients, a properly designed and functioning fire suppression system saves lives in one of the most dangerous situations possible–a fire.
As a MEPFP Coordinator, with over 20 years of experience, I work with a plethora of fire protection subcontractors and Imperial Fire Protection (IFP) is the best one that I have worked with. They provide timely 3D model design, uploads, and clash resolutions. The approach that Greg Rice uses in coordination regarding his system is by far the most efficient for 3D MEPFP Coordination. His process is to coordinate the fire protection mains first then let the other trades complete their coordination, and then coordinate the fire protection branches last. IFP understands that if you properly coordinate the Fire Protection system, the field installation goes smoothly and in turn eliminates wasted field man-hours. I highly recommend Greg Rice to all the General Contractor clients and always look forward to the opportunity to work with his team on projects. Cody Taylor

Like many in the DFW area, we had a broken pipe during the winter storms in February 2021. The pipe happened to be in our inside fire sprinkler (backflow) system and flooded the attic and broke through to our garage below. I had a hard time getting anyone on the phone let alone book someone to come out to do repairs. Surprise! IFP answered and did the repair work in less than a day! They were very professional and understanding, and put my mind at ease about the whole process. Sunny M.
